Being more of a MS fan than a Google fan I thought I would comment that for Windows Live Messenger this has been available for 3 or 4 months now (they are on the second rev already).  I have not put the Live Messenger control on my blog yet because of concerns I have about anyone using my IM to contact me - that same concern would go for the Google control as well - there needs to be a better SPAM story or else things could get out of control really fast (much like how CAPCHA came about when blog comment spam went crazy!).</description>
