I came across this Noah commercial recently and thought it was just fantastic, for several reasons. Check it out.

“No one ever said keeping a promise was easy…” Now that is funny stuff. When you take a moment to think about it though you realize how difficult that whole experience must have been for Noah. His life is a great analogy for us and our lives. We have a lot of trials and tribulations we need to get through, but it is extremely important that we keep the promises (or covenants) we have made with God.

This brings to mind a scripture in Matthew

28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. ((Matthew 11:28-30))

Here the Lord calls to those of us that are having a hard time and promises rest. How grateful I am for the atonement of Christ in my life that rescues me when my burden feels too heavy to bear.
